When treating Fibromyalgia take tramadol with care!

When pregnant and suffering from Fibromyalgia it is important to know that the Tramadol (medication used to relieve pain) is in pregnancy category C. This means that the medication may be harmful to an unborn baby, and it may also cause serious side effects in a newborn if it is given to the mother during pregnancy or labor. Note, too, that Tramadol can enter a mother's breast milk and can therefore be make harm to a nursing baby.
